Cabbage: One of my favorite late summer vegetables
Cabbage is good for you and it will help you too. The benefits of cabbage:
- moistens the intestines
- benefits the stomach
- improves digestion
- treats constipation
- fights parasites
- soothes ulcers
Cabbage is high in sulfur which will fight parasites and purify the blood. Cabbage contains iodine and is a rich source of Vitamin C. The outer leaves are high in Vitamin E and Calcium.

My Favorite Cabbage Recipe
This is the easiest recipe and tastes great!
Fry some hamburger, add chopped up cabbage and a little water and steam the cabbage in the hamburger mixture until the cabbage is soft enough to eat. Add sea salt and pepper and wrap some mixture in a tortia wrap and eat. Very easy and fast to make and quite tasty!
