Until recently people (including myself) never realized how important ingredient suppliers for our pet foods are to our pet’s health. For the past year I have been using food from Flint River Ranch. I have been using their brand of food because they use organic, human quality foods for their pet foods. This means that all the ingredients could be eaten by people. No animal parts that we would not eat. Also nothing like corn that is not digestible by pets. These two facts had me convinced that Flint River Ranch was the best solution for my pet. With the recent pet food scare I am so happy I made this choice. They use suppliers that use human grade ingredients and they always use the same suppliers so there is no unpleasant surprises.

I became concerned about most cat foods following the recent problems w/ ingredients coming out of China. In May, I ordered food from Flint River for my cat. We started out as instructed, giving small amounts of new w/ old and then increasing. Grayson wasn’t having it though. He was sorting through his food and eating only the new. After about 5 days, we gave up and quit giving him the old stuff. He loves his new food, and we feel better that he is eating it! Thanks for the tip!
